I was born and raised in Thessaloniki. From a young age, I used to sleep with a stack of design magazines next to me. I enjoyed flipping through even the catalogs of electrical appliances on Sundays because I appreciated seeing the different designs and approaches to each product, even if it was just coffee makers. During car rides with my parents, I would glue myself to the window, eagerly anticipating the unexpected sight of a house on our route that would impress me. Yes, I constantly rearranged the furniture in my room, painted the walls, and then started photography.

Alongside my architectural studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, I pursued photography at Stereosis, took film lessons at Studio Anemicinema, volunteered for many years at the film and documentary festival in Thessaloniki, and participated in numerous workshops. I always believed that architecture is the combination of all the arts, which creates a living result through its function, enjoyment, and its transformation over time by one or more users, by one or more people. This belief led me to learn that the true responsibility of an architect is much greater than the image portrayed on the internet.

As I transitioned from one art form to another and nurtured my creativity, I realized that to truly be inspired and produce a genuine work, it must first be done with love, understanding, and respect. After many solo and group exhibitions and as I neared the end of my studies, I began my career as an architect. I started projects with friendly faces and collaborated with the architectural firm of Maria Tsamourtsi in Thessaloniki. Later, I moved to Athens, where I continued my individual projects and collaborated with the design company Ypsilon, founded by Yiannis Tsopanakis in Plaka.
Consistently creating spaces that are not just beautiful but also serve their purpose and remain attractive over time, I realized that my approach is experiential and starts with who I am as a person. So, I moved to Larissa, a quiet yet active city, and established my own architecture office and team.
At DH Studio architectural firm, we don’t just design projects; we create homes with soul and commercial projects with story.
When we study a project, we strive to do something better and more beautiful, always in a holistic way. We are interested in who we have in front of us, and as a result, each project is approached differently because all people are different. We must care for the individual and take care of their space because everything in life is action and reaction.
